Principals
Anne Branigin Vandeveer
Anne is the President of ABV Retirement & Welfare Plan Advisors, Inc. She is an accomplished employee benefits consultant specializing in employee benefit plan compliance and related issues.
She founded the company over ten years ago following a decade of work with several national benefit consulting and accounting firms including Mercer, Coopers & Lybrand and BKD. She specializes in both welfare benefit plan Form 5500 compliance & defined contribution plan consulting. Anne has also provided extensive consulting on DOL & qualified plan audits, defined contribution recordkeeping platforms and general Form 5500 compliance.
She now serves many insurance brokerage firms across the country from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest. Her firm has a longstanding partnership with the Indianapolis-based law firm, Krieg Devault, LLP, for the most technical issues and peer review related to governmental reporting, nondiscrimination testing and related compliance. As a matter of course, she often works closely with independent accounting firms for ERISA tax and financial issues.
Anne is a graduate of Purdue University, with a BS in Mathematics. She, her husband and their two children reside in Carmel Indiana, where she is very active in her children’s PTO and their academic and athletic activities.
David Vandeveer
David's relationships in the industry have served the business development needs of ABV Retirement & Welfare Plan Advisors for over 10 years. He is a recognized employee benefits consultant specializing in benefit outsourcing, health plan compliance and retirement plan performance solutions.
Over the past 20 years, he has been in sales, consulting and has served as broker to hundreds of businesses across the country. His clients ranged from small companies with as few as 50 employees to those in the thousands including several Fortune 100 companies. His career development includes work at:

His experience with large corporate HR services is scalable into much smaller businesses and helps them create a competitive edge, solidify relationships and stay compliant.
David is a graduate of Indiana University in Finance, has earned his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation and obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) accreditation through the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
Personally, he is immersed in his four children’s academic, professional, musical and athletic ventures when he’s not out cycling, in the kitchen cooking or acquiring wines for mass enjoyment.
